Illustration for one of the short stories released before the Sons of Nowhere novel, written by

!
I designed all the characters for the novel some months ago, so I'm always really happy when I'm asked to do more work for it, since I feel the characters a bit mine too in a way, and feel attached to them

I had a lot of fun doing that one because it really was the first time I tried this kinda color and tried to give it this more "pictoric" feel to it. Will have to improve in the future though

Also, not happy with the feet, though I guess I'll have to make them better in the upcoming times

AT LEAST I think they actually look like he's burying them in the sand, as supposed... xD

The colours are so nicely smooth and soft and the colours you used are nicely subtle, yet they are somehow glowing, without being too distracting or strong. I think the sky is especially cool, because of the warm and cold colour it has and the shape of the clouds. And I like how you establish the wind through the hair and the sweater.
The face of the boy also turned out pretty likeable, I like his expression, it's such a sweet melancholy kind of expression. So all in all this is pretty great work!
Forever alone.
